Modeled in ZBrush; textured/animated in 3ds Max; compiled in After Effects



3. Capsulorhexis from Phacoemulsification:

Modeled/textured lens, lens capsule, and iris in 3ds Max; animated cystosome and lens capsule removal in 3ds Max



4. Plaque removal from Carotid Endarterectomy:

Modeled/textured/animated plaque and all instruments in 3ds Max; textured arteries in 3ds Max (models from Osirix); compiled in After Effects



5. Ear hair cells from Seeing Sound:

Modeled, textured, and animated everything in 3ds Max; compiled in After Effects



6. Eyeball:

Modeled and textured for Phacoemulsification in 3ds Max; compiled in After Effects



7. "Mega-zoom-out" from Seeing Sound:

Ossicles modeled in ZBrush, everything else modeled in 3ds Max; textured/animated in 3ds Max



8. "Sculpting" from Phacoemulsification:

Modeled/textured lens, lens capsule, and iris in 3ds Max; animated instrument movement and lens reshaping in 3ds Max



9. Clamping from Carotid Endarterectomy:

Modeled/textured/animated bulldog clamp and external carotid artery in 3ds Max (artery model from Osirix)



10. Sound waves from Seeing Sound:

Modeled ossicles in ZBrush, modeled/textured/animated sound waves, ear canal, ossicle movement in 3ds Max (human model from Poser); compiled in After Effects



11. IOL injection from Phacoemulsification:

Modeled/textured all eyeball parts; animated IOL injection, unfolding of IOL, and iris constriction in 3ds Max



12. Cilia/closing sequence:

Modeled/textured/animated in 3ds Max; compiled in After Effects
